The Sun

The sun can be more than the heat from the sky-

a gentle kiss on the cheek,

a slow, soft stroke down the arm,

a smile from a stranger on a rainy day.

The sun can be

the look in a child’s eye on thier first solo bike ride,

the laughter in the voices around you,

the smell of fresh mowed grass.

The sun can be

the view out the car window on a peaceful drive.

The sun can be

listening to a good song with an old friend.

The sun can be

all those things that make you feel alive.

My Favorite Sundress

Tickling my bare legs through my favorite sundress…

It takes some time to tan my legs then go shopping for the perfect sundress to bring out the total overall look. My legs are soft, and they shine with my dress up to just the right place. It lies lazily above my knees. When I sit, I cross my legs in a seductive tone. Propping my elbow on my knee in just the right place to hold my face while I laugh and smile. I slowly stroke my crossed legs with my free hand. At the end of my golden shiny legs the silver rings on my toes sparkle and shine. A perfect pedicure, you’re mine! All it took was rubbing my legs in my favorite sundress, it seems.

Looking At Your Face

Looking at your face, I see your hopes and fears, tears and years, loves and losses! I see the hopes in your smile. I see the fears in the slightest movements of your eyebrows. Looking at your face, I see the sun reflect off your eyes like diamonds. The eyes I see speak of love. Your lips that part to breathe air also move to talk of the years past. Your lips move in perfect time with every word that smoothly flows from them. The tears you shed are tears of fears that have been beat and losses you could not keep. Looking at your face, I see the woman I long to be.
