As I thought about my place in life, I began looking at my surroundings and truly started looking to see God in creation. This video is a compilation of photos that Debbie and I have taken over the last few years with the exception of a few at the beginning (of space and earth). The song is an original piece written and performed by my youngest brother, Anthony Ficek.

As we walk through this life, how often do we fail to recognize the beauty around us. It’s hard sometimes to see that beauty, with headlines screaming the effects of a failing economy. The “news” of murders and crooked politicians, and fallen church leaders.

It’s the nature of the world we live in. Isn’t it awesome that as believers in the Lord Jesus, we can say with confidence that our citizenship is not of the world, but instead that we are seated in the heavenlies?! All we must do when we begin feeling bogged down by the trials of our life is look UP! We have a Father in heaven that loves us and proof of His very existence is in the nature all around us. Anyone that cannot see God in nature has been blinded by the enemy of our souls.

Paul wrote that the preaching of the cross is foolishness to some, but to us, it is the very POWER OF GOD! The heaven’s declare His Glory. Amen.
