Oftentimes, people will express how difficult it is to share the Word with somebody. I agree, that at times, it seems harder to do than at other times. I believe though that The Holy Spirit will guide us and direct us when it’s time to open our mouths and share.
 
There is a way to share that is less intimidating to others and may not make them feel as though they are being “Bible thumped”. Jesus tells us this ”method” in Mark chapter 5. You see, Jesus had just cast out the demon called Legion from the man that walked the tombs. It was soon after this, that the man begged Him that he might be with Him. Jesus responded by saying, “Go home to your friends and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and how He has had mercy on you.”
 
If you are a believer, then the Lord has done much for you and has had mercy on you. As fallen creatures, we are all well deserving of the sentence to hell, yet Christ came and died so that we may live. Isn’ t this great news? Isn’t this exciting?
 
Next time you are having trouble sharing the Gospel, just share what God has done for you. Go ye into the world and preach the Gospel to every creature. Think about this. What has the Lord done for you?
